A flipped classroom is a way of teaching. The pedagogy of a flipped classroom is where students basically learn the material on their own and in the classroom, discuss what they learned. This can be beneficial on a certain degree, but not all classes thrive off of this method. For instance, I once had a calculus class in high school where the teacher uploaded videos online for us to watch and learn, and then in class, we did the homework, he didn't want to help us either. Math is just not a subject that you can do this method with, you have to teach them step by step and be there to help them. But, in classes where it’s just mainly reading things at home and then coming in to discuss them, this method might flourish. It honestly depends on the students preference of learning.
